Judgment Day for Japan

I thought TBS news had the coolest and most ridiculous graphics/music for its election coverage. I was wrong. FTV has raised (or lowered?) the bar by adding Terminator music and the title JUDGMENT DAY to its election news:
Get ready, Japan: Skynet will be attacking us tomorrow! I hope everyone has stockpiled enough weapons to deal with the hordes of killer robots.

The Terminator Door

Two kids in Fukuoka’s Chuo ward discover that the door of their local Yoshinoya gyudon restaurant makes the sound from the Terminator theme song [clip from "Nanikore Chin Hakkei"]:
This amazing discovery was made shortly after they saw Terminator 4. The store’s employees were ignorant of the amazing quality of the door, but now they know about it.

Terminator meets Doraemon

“Doraemon 1-Jikan ‘O-26(furo) Special’ ~Nobita o Aishita Bishōjo~”(Doraemon One-Hour O-26 (Bath) Special: The Beautiful Girl Who Loved Nobita) begins when a cute assistant robot named Rury suddenly appears before Doraemon’s hapless owner, Nobita. Rury was sent to terminate Nobita by Boss Walther, an evil future organization bent on world conquest. A humanoid T-800 robot named “Terrinanor” appears in the story’s climax as the ultimate weapon.
It’s about time Japanese children learned about Judgment Day.
