Americans Greet Japanese Defense Minister With “Sayonara” Sign

Japanese Defense Minister Naoki Tanaka visited Yokota Air Base on friday to check on the preparations for a North Korean missile launch. Instead of a “Welcome” sign, he was greeted with a “Sayonara” sign board:
It was obviously an error. And Tanaka, who isn’t exactly known as the sharpest tool in the shed, probably didn’t even notice it.
