American archival footage shows what it was like to travel in Japan back in the late 1950′s:

These kinds of archival videos and threads about Japan in the past is way too cool.

It’s fascinating to see the vibrant city life, and very interesting to see the sushi displays in the restaurant windows, which predates the mass sushi craze in the U.S. by 5 decades or so.
