Summer 2011 Fast Food Burger Battle in Japan

The use of the word “Food” in relation to these Fast Foods, is surely a misnomer.
 
Stuff might be more appropriate.

McD’s NY Burger (or was Manhattan Burger? I forget) from last year was actually pretty good: nice mix of toppings with a mustard sauce that was actually spicy. The Mega Mac just looks ridiculous and excessive. I’d be embarrassed to order it, and more so to eat it in public.

MOS consistently has good tasting food, and manage to create some unique flavors. Relatively expensive as fast food goes, but nice once in a while.

No KFC in my neighborhood, unfortunately. Their Twisters are pretty good, and while I’m not a fan of BBQ sauce, this new sandwich doesn’t look bad.

Haven’t eaten at Lotteria in over ten years, and no great desire to do so.

Burger King still stands head and shoulders above the rest, in my opinion. They pack on the fresh vegetables, and the bread they use is significantly better tasting than any of the others, making their sandwiches much more enjoyable (funny how the meat in all these sandwiches is really an afterthought, flavor-wise. Once you get down to mass production level, protein is fungible).
