Damn I pity that crazy lady’s neighbors. She must be screaming “UFO da!” and freaking out at least 3 times a day, whenever a flock of birds goes by, or a kid hits a baseball into the air, or a jet goes by high over head, or….. ah, why not take a video of the crazy lady? It’ll be funnier!

Much of the comments by native Japanese people themselves all over the internet, seemed to be more like ‘People are overreacting’, or ‘Why is the article (there was an article in Japanese that seemed to give the impression that the majority of Tokyo residents were making a big deal out of it) making it sound like all Tokyo-ites were making a big deal out of it?’, as well as ‘It’s the crazy lady that’s overreacting—not the majority of the Japanese people or people in Tokyo’.
