Yakuza Boss Arrested

Yakuza handing gifts to kids is such a low rotten act.

They try to garner public “appreciation” and even fool quite a number of citizens who think “gee – they really aren’t so bad”.

These fooled people fail to recognize that the gifts / money comes from extortion, racketeering, drug dealing, gun running, prostitution, fraud, murder amongst a myriad of “nice” activities.

Hopefully(?) this is a real step in the right direction of significantly diminishing the powers of these stains on society.

Japan can only be better off.

Which piece of the peace was disturbed?

If there had been the will to sever connections with the politicians and the cops, and crack down on glaringly obvious criminal activity, the cohorts of organized crime could have been decimated years ago. I’m surprised at this arrest but you don’t have to be into conspiracy theories to imagine that Takayama has been set up from within the gang in some kind of power struggle. Why would the next to top boss in a crime gang that numbers thousands be singled out? He has an army of soldiers to do the dirty work for him.

Any other theories?
