Somehow I don’t think just dumping carcasses in the woods constitutes “cruelty to animals”. They’re dead already – kind of hard to be “cruel” to dead or inanimate objects.

I will agree it is despicable behavior, though, to take money from folks in exchange for a pet funeral and then just dump the body somewhere.

The headline on this article sucks. This isn’t about the illegal dumping of garbage. This is about some jerk throwing the bodies of people’s pets onto the side of the road as if they were roadkill. If I found out that some “funeral operator” threw my cat or dog’s body out like that, his body would be the next “illegal garbage” found on the side of the road. Sheesh.
