Samurai swordsman slices baseball in half

I’m pretty sure I’ve posted about this swordsman before, but since some of you may have missed it, here’s an appearance he made on a show that aired last week:

I’m guessing the speed of the baseball plus the speed of the sword make cutting it in half pretty simple so long as you can hit the thing.

I bet a two handed sword in the hands of a baseball player could cut balls in half all day long.

yes, that’s nice… but he didn’t cut it exactly in half,
did he? it was more like 1/3 off…

samurai swords can cut a man’s neck in half, so cutting
a baseball in half shouldn’t come as a surprise.

now, if he had used a samurai sword to cut a flying
golf ball in half, then it would be really something!
(just don’t show it to Tiger Wood’s wife)

Slice a ball is not so impressive. People usually do that with a bat.
