Cola Shock – alcohol + cola

As far as I know, Kirin is not selling its alcoholic “Cola Shock” drink outside of Japan. However, it’s newest commercial shows Meisa Kuroki working as a waitress at a restaurant in some English-speaking country where everyone wants to drink Cola Shock:

In the US maybe, in Europe, you won’t see it used.
Corn Syrup being to expensive over here for soft drinks.

The point is whether it is a derivative of sugar, honey or any sweet substitute doesn’t really matter. The bottom line is that Soda is bad for you! As long as you do everything in moderation that’s the key! It is OK, but anyone guzzling 4 liters of soda a day will be asking for it sooner or later.
I don’t care what country I’m in, the stuff is not good, so there is no such thing as this softdrink is better than that softdrink…
They’re all bad!

alcohol cola???? there already is that ‘energy drink beer’ stuff on the market here, but packaging booze and cola in one can??

this would be HUGE in the States.

The stuff tastes real bad – kinda like coke zero or something gone horribly horribly wrong – better off buying each drink separately and mixing it yourself

How is canned alcoholic cola american in any way? I don’t remember seeing canned alcoholic cola at my local american convenient store, but there are tons of products like this in japan.

I had some of these in Japan. Some American reviewers seem to hate it, but I actually really liked Cola Shock. I hate cheap alcohol, but this stuff isn’t bad.
