I remember the first time I went to japan and hit the wrong button on one of those high tech toilets and got the spritz for the first time in my life. To me it might have been the fire hose, Ive never jumped so high in the air in my life!

Toribia no Izumi can be pretty funny, but it can also be pretty juvenile. I remember one episode where they had a conversation that went something like this:

A: “Do you know how to say あえぐ (pant, as in pant like a dog) in English?

B: “No, how do you say it?”

A: “パンツ” (“Pants,” as in the British meaning of underwear).

And then they were both sniggering. I mean, I’m talking grown men here.

I’m glad to see that the show trivia no irezumi is still around conducting crazy, but mostly interesting experiments. I would definitely hate to be on the receiving end of that.

@Hamachiman: Basically. They conduct experiments based on viewer requests….not necessarily based on myths or urban legends. Some examples include: “How Many Tissues Does It Take to Stop a 9mm bullet” and another experiment where they test the strength of bullet proof glass with an RPG.
