Japan Self-Defense Forces Bento

Yet another visit to the gift shop at the Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces PR Center, this time introducing some different products:

SDF survival bento – wiener curry and sukiyaki hamburg
Russian roulette manju – one in six of the snacks contains ultra spicy pepper
High tech military socks – great for any salaryman with a stinky feet problem

Why are they selling ‘Russian Roulette manju’ as an army supply? Is that what the soldiers do to pass time when they’re bored?

Japan re militarize already, instead of having all this PR stuff. The foreign community is looking at you as a weak impotent nation easily taken advantage of because you have no military. Rearm and be nuclear and tell them to fuck off (Sea Shepherd). The concept of Self Defense Force is just lame, weak, and ineffective.

Anyone knows that a non-offensive military is garbage. The only way to have any political leverage in military matters is to field an armed force which can kick ass whenever needed. Going nuclear is also effective too, as a relatively insignificant pariah country like North Korea can cause so much instability in the region.

But how can Japan keep playing the innocent peace-loving nuclear victim card by going on the offensive?

You gotta understand that Japan as a nation is not non-aggressive by nature, but by need, because are rather cowardly at heart. These guys were BADASS in WWII, up until they pissed off a bigger bully and started to take a beating. Instead of staying true to the samurai spirit and fighting til the last man like true badasses do, they copped out of their own fight and decided to play victim in denial.

As much as I would love to see Japan vs China RD2, The Japanese know all too well what’s at stake if they choose direct military action against their Asian neighbors. It’s not like they don’t want to pick a fight, just that they don’t have quite enough power to overcome their own cowardice, especially since WWII is still relatively recent memory. They don’t have thousands of gundams or arm slaves at their disposal, so subtle messages will suffice, for now.

Japanese: likes to punch the crap out of little people for no reason as well as cry and condemn big people for unnecessary violence when their wrists are broken for starting a fight.

I don’t know about you, but if I have to root for someone among a group of douche-bags who goes around punching people, I’d root for the badass douche-bag who goes all out trying to positively F-up everybody including bigger guys; rather than the coward douche-bag who talks the talk while F-ing up lesser opponents but cries and plays victim when the going gets too tough.
