Cops stop Josh Sehrer
Remember that video clip of Josh Sehrer acting stupid in Shibuya? Here’s another one, apparently showing him being taken away by the police:
Given the absolutely terrible quality of the video, it’s hard to figure out what is going on. However, Josh provided some details via e-mail:
As you probably know I was just in Tokyo for 72 hours to get publicity, well more like 48 hours. Thursday night when I arrived I had a coat but no shirt underneath, my belly button/tattoo of Shibuya’s 109 building was the only thing showing not either of my nipples.
Fans had been filming when literally all of Shibuya’s police force apprehended me, and you’d think it’d be over yelling that I love the foreigner girls walking past but as you can see from the superimposed time the police showed up about 15 seconds after we walked back.
I was apprehended because my belly button was showing and because of it I lost nearly 24 hours of my trip, detained without food or water!
And it was caught on tape! Please share this, not to promote my friends music but to put an end to this abuse rarely caught on tape!

Wow… so the police stop an idiot causing a disturbance in a busy area… oh the humanity!
Some people might even think that being stopped 15 seconds after doing something might be indicative of there being something wrong with what they were doing…
Also, good to know that Shibuya only has 4 police officers.

There were five police officers that apprehended moi. And one was what some of you in the RPG world would refer to as a “tank” but as you can see in the video he gets a lvl 27 confusion. If I take them to court I am going to ask for the apartment with a balcony above the Hachiko exit police box. That’s where it’ll all be mine!!

There’s nothing illegal about acting stupid. And apparently there’s nothing illegal about showing your chest/stomach area since people are shirtless all the time in the spring/summer/fall.
Telling him to zip up and even yelling at him for being a jerk would have been fine. But they detained him for 24 hours. That’s simply overreacting.

Ok ok, i take back that, i have no right to call him a douche etc, as i do not know him. so i apologize. 7 years ago 2ch did a raid of the site and there were (before they were deleted,) pages and pages of people saying they were going to capture me, they got ahold of pretty much every address of every house I’ve ever spent the night in and snailmailed threats, ruined my messageboard with photos of kittens and Koreans and that was all during a time when this other looney Japanese girl was trying to put a hit on me but later explained after we settled our differences that the yakuza she was talking had no motive other than her paying them, sleeping with them, and wouldn’t do it.
You’d think this would make me feel invincible, but I am so completely absolutely without a doudt innocent of everything that if anything were to ever happen to me it’d be the world’s mistake for letting it happen. I’m going to die innocent and was lucky enough to do a lot of immoral stuff, saving lives was worth it.

JOSH: Listen, maybe this is who you are and you shouldn’t be changing for anyone but you also have to understand that there are better ways of showing who you are. Acting like an ass in public is definitely not one of them. Take a look in the mirror, look at how you would be seen by people and what reaction you would get. Well, he’s obviously a brilliant businessman. In his online “shop” (plain text on a white screen, no photos, order buttons or links) he offers 2XL black t-shirts, printed with “Japanse girls saved my life”, for only 100 USD each with worldwide free shipping. Claims to have made 10,000 of them, and says he is going to use the 1,000,000 dollars in profits to buy a condo in Tokyo.
Which would mean he conned someone into buying 10,000 t-shirts for him, and also conned someone into paying for the shipping instead of himself or the customer, as that is the only way to sell the shirts for $100 and also make $100 in profit.
Of course, there is another possibility: that this self-professed high-school dropout sucks at math and can’t even count to 20 without taking his high-tops off.

I guess Josh has already made the outline planning proposals to the Metropolitan city government and earmarked a vacant plot of land for his ‘huge concrete facility’? His $1,000,000 would soon disappear in legals and design fees. Then he’ll only need around $100,000,000 to put up a ‘huge’ reinforced concrete building in central Tokyo (that’s at the low end of the scale).
He’s going to have to sell a lot of T-shirts (forgetting for a moment that those demented enough to want such a T-shirt could have their own made for $10 at their local T-shirt print shop). Having a grip on reality is obviously not one of Josh’s strong points.
