even before the earthquake, Haiti was already a pretty
messed-up country. billions of foreign air were either
stolen by corruct governemt officials or spent on useless
consturction projects.

the country doesn’t deserve to get more aid just because
of a big earthquake.

save you money and donate it to people in other more
deserving poor countries in Asia and Africa.

SushiCat: the Haitian govt is one thing. What about its people? – why should they be penalised for it – and at such a crucial and pain-wrenching time?

There are corrupt govts everywhere – not just in ‘poor countries’.

This show is quite frequently far superior to many of the other news programs out there. When the head of NHK (and the station in general) was getting slammed for misusing all those millions in ‘viewer fees,’ this program gave an straightforward discussion of what went on, followed by the adult apologizing to the kids and viewers for what the network did. I don’t think any of their prime-time newscasters ever did anything similar.

Oh come one! Where the hell are the brazilian forces dolls? I mean, Brazil is helping Hait since 2006 and is the country who most donated to the victims after the Estates! Really that’s so annoying.

this reminds me of that animation some Japanese company did to explain the Conan O’Brien/Jay Leno Tonight Show feud a couple of weeks ago.
