Take me to your cheap sushi

A man is so surprised by the fact that Kappa Zushi is selling sushi at 90 yen a plate that he fails to notice a group of space aliens:

That sounds pretty cheap! I usually eat 15 to 18 plates.
(just under 40 pieces of sushi)
However, at 90 yen a plate, what’s the quality like?

I’ve never been to Kapa suishi before. I had genki sushi and it was OK. Sushiro in the other hand is awesome. It may not be as cheap as the other two but they have more variety and better quality fish.

That’s super cheap. I, too, wonder if it’s poor quality sushi or not.

Sushi and alien? Interesting combination and clever marketing.

The Kaiten sushi is 100yen, cheapest sushi out there

Depends on the chain, there are non-100-yen-per-plate kaiten sushi chains out there. Like Genki Sushi.
But for places like Kappa Sushi and Sushiro, yes, at 100 yen a plate you aren’t getting the premium stuff. It is usually OK though.
