    beat takeshi speaks English

It seems like Takeshi Kitano has been starring in ECC English learning commercials for a long time now, but in every commercial I’ve seen, he has avoided actually speaking English. Here’s the latest one, in which Takeshi makes an announcement in English

    McDonald’s Texas Burger

    texas burger

The movie Footloose is apparently set in Utah/Oklahoma, which I suppose is close enough to Texas to make its song appropriate for this McDonald’s “Big America” burger commercial:

    Animals vs. Dominoes

    animals vs dominoes

A Japanese TV show sees if certain animals can navigate their way to a bowl of food without knocking down some dominoes (first part of the clip is missing, but you still get to see which animal is victorious):

A note to those coming to this page from external links: This is not from a “game show.” Almost every wacky clip you see on the internet that comes from Japanese TV isn’t from a “game show” either. Please get that through your head.

This is just a variety TV show that performed a few experiments with animals.

    why are japanese

    why are japanese people

    why are japanese men

    why are japanese women

    why are japanese girls

    cycling over water

Japanese celebrities attempt to cycle across a flimsy 300-meter floating bridge:

[note: This was actually from a 2009 show re-broadcasted in 2010.]
