Glasses crushed into pavement in Japan

ATV’s “Nanikore” folks discover a street in Saitama prefecture where one can see the remains of a pair of glasses that were smashed into the pavement due to a road construction mishap:

You said it jp. How did this even get to be news. This is something you pass on the street and think to your self, "Hey, there are some glasses in the pavement." But not as much as to waste 5 minutes of air time. They should cover more relevant news such as the rate of grass growth in Tokyo to that of Egypt. Just a thought here.

It’s not on the news… It was featured on a VARIETY show, “Nanikore Chinhyakkei” where they ask people to submit things like this… and it’s exactly because people thought, “Hey, there are some glasses in the pavement” and realized that it’s not something you see anywhere else that they decided to submit it to the show…
