Wonderful old house in Kyoto
Kyoto University of Foreign Studies professor (and sometimes TV tarento) Jeff Berglund gives a group of celebrities a tour of his amazing house in Kyoto:
The house is 160-years-old and looks out on the Kamo River. As one would expect from a house built in the late Edo Period, its interior is entirely Japanese style and requires a significant amount of maintenance.
Between May and September, its balcony is usually extended so that it can accommodate parties of up to 40 people.
