Claytonian on Japanese TV

Congratulations to Japan Probe’s Claytonian for getting featured on the TBS morning show “Gacchiri Monday”:

Thanks to a post-it note that he cleverly attached to his torso, we can tell that he’s the guy in the YouTube t-shirt shown in the first 3 seconds of the news report.

The full report is about how Google technology that automatically detects copyrighted content is being used to help make money. They are giving copyright holders the choice to make some money through advertising placed on videos that contain their music or video content.

Ozawa Akane. She’s married to Gekidan Hitori, and her grandfather is Ozawa Keiji, the old guy in the kimono on TBS’s “Sunday Morning” offering “appare!” and “kaatsu!” to various athletes depending on whether they did a good job or made a fool of themselves.

I don’t believe he has yet publicly commented on his opinion of his granddaughter’s husband.

As for the blog post from James, yes, the copyright holders can get money through the ad system, but still the Warner Music Group and others are threatening and suing people for posting videos with the intention of fair use and are taking down videos or disabling the audio tracks. They still haven’t learned anything.
