Are you serious? That is hilarious if it’s true. This gorilla doesn’t like white folks? What if it was Black or Brown folks? Yellow folks are OK?

According to the profile, the user who uploaded this clip is from Canada.

He wrote, “Stupid Gaijin provokes angry chimpazee and get’s mauled. 3.14159 hito, 2 grains of rice and 1 hat die. He was out to get me.”

Maybe this user and his friends did something to get the chimpanzee’s attention for the video?

I don’t think the user meant the chimpanzee was angry at foreigners in general.

He seemed to be behaving like a normal chimp to me. I didn’t see anyone actually get mauled but that would probably make the video more interesting.

The behaviour of this chimpanzee is not so unusual. They are extremely observant and can spot someone ‘different’ in a crowd. It may sometimes be colour of skin, stature or facial differences. Even within say an all white population chimpanzees and other animals will choose, for whatever reason, a type of person that they do not like. Maybe they look like someone who teased or caused them offence in the past.

Isn’t the uploader one of those Japanese who go overseas and call the residents of those countries “gaijin”?

That would be more hilarious of the chimp reaction to me

I am a British student, and one of my classmates was once called ‘gaijin’ by a Japanese exchange student (studying at our university), in an offensive manner. He just replied with “you’re in my country now, so YOU ARE the gaijin”.
My Japanese tutor’s (both of whom are Japanese) found it very funny, and agreed with him.
