I saw that on Asahi TV last night! It was so bizarre that I decided to record it, and ended up recording a bunch of other unusual commercials as well.

I wish I had recorded the one I saw for the McDonalds Corn Happy Meal. That was truly strange for me.

Hah. I got a kick out of seeing this ad.

The guy with the Halls played a detective in the show “BOSS”. (Not sure what the actor’s name is, though…)

This seems to be pun-based. Comic Kendo Kobayashi (KenKoba) becomes KenkoBato (health dove). You can see the making-of video on the Halls site.
