Eating sausages in Osaka

November 18th, 2009 by James

sausages

An interesting video showing the various people who buy sausages from a shop on a train station platform in Osaka:

Thousands of commuters pass through Kyobashi Station in Osaka every day. For 600 of them the singular highlight is a sausage.

Awesome video. Looks so tasty! I love sausage on a stick.

And excellent tune too! Does anybody know what it is? So appropriate. Well done to whoever made it.

‘For 600 of them the singular highlight is a sausage’

That’s a pretty bold statement. How the hell do they know?

Maybe that dude who filmed them stood there for a day and asked them?…
Quick! someone open a pancake store next to it for dessert!

On another note @ 1.54 that dude looked like he was making love to his sausage. rofl

The music for the sausage video is Flim – I thought for the longest time it was Film, it’s not – by The Bad Plus. Should have added that detail. And who ever asked about the number of sausages, 600 is how many the the vendors told us they sell every day.

Woah – total Keihan line flashback. Passed through Kyobashi countless times, never noticed the sausages.

Yes, unfortunately, for some reason, Germany is very strict on YouTube audio content. I have 25+ videos on my channel and only Germany blocks the whole video (not just the audio) even though I give all musical credit. All other countries that note there is (potentially) copyright material just chuck an Advertisement in next to the video and let it play anyway…
Plus, the “bot” that checks for music is not so accurate anyway…it has only picked up less than 25% of my clips.
