Swine flu mask commercial

The Japanese company that ran commercials featuring a whole family wearing anti-flu masks now has a commercial aimed at workers who cannot miss work:

Would have been WAAAAAAAAAAY better if they had a family of pigs wearing those masks.
Saw this on TV yesterday and winced thinking about how hard it would be to breathe in that mask. My rant on masks: http://www.daveinjapan.com/blog/?p=29
I have been cleaning out the house the last couple weeks and wearing masks for the entire time and had no problem breathing, or did not feel afflicted by any of the issues in your post.
As for effectiveness in protecting the wearer from the flu… I doubt it protects an uninfected person that much but certainly will be better if an infected person wears one…
