Sad to see playgrounds decaying.
Likely a combination of low child birth rate meaning less children, more kids happy to play indoors with their DS’s and PSPs, and the recent wave litigation-happy parents killing off each installment one-by-one.

Hint: Although I am glad my sarcasm has reached new heights, can I just say that most of it is way beyond what I actually believe.
It’s mostly lame attempts at humor and/or catharsis.

Let off steam here so I don’t let off steam on my friends (as some leftist friends tend to do to me, I am not impressed, go shout about George Bush to someone else)

And maybe get a laugh or two.

And besdies, my GF’s grandmother literally broke part of her spine last weekend, but she was turned away at the hospital, told to come back Monday! We’re not happy. So in this case, my cynicism is not an exaggeration.

“Warning – Any persons injured here on a weekend will be ferried around in an ambulance for hours and denied entry to hospitals until Monday morning, or until death, whichever comes first.”

And thus, we know why seniors aren’t quite so keen on walking low balance beams and such.
