No nationwide fast food chain in Japan specializes in hot dogs as a non-breakfast menu item. Mini Stop convenience stores have started concentrating on hot dogs, aiming to become a fast food contender:

their hotdogs are not hotdogs man, theyre more like sausages, but yea they do have them at all those french bakery type places where u just pick up crap with the tongs and buy it. i think that guys right about mos burger too, but everyone knows the double mushroom burger is the bomb there.

they only have them at breakfast. tried to buy one for lunch the other day and they looked at me like i was crazy. a hot dog for lunch???
