Aflac commercial song a hit in Japan

November 3rd, 2009 by James

aflac song

It would seem that the song from that Aflac commercial I posted a couple months ago has become so popular on music downloading services that they are now giving live performances of it (and it will be released as a single CD):

That commercial is awesome. Very catchy. Someone should make a “best commercials from Japan” cd. I’d buy that over a single.

oh my god. No matter how gay and horrible I may find this as a 22 year old male, I could see my old Japanese roommate, who is the same age as me, watching this and singing along in this pajamas, eating a UFO big.

I have to admit it’s catchier than the Lotte Fits song from a few months ago.

I sang this song in karaoke and impressed friends. Even staff came to listen behind the door.
