Windows 7 Fail

windows 7 fail

Fuji TV tries and fails to give a demo of Windows 7 during a live news broadcast:

The anchor tries to zoom in on the Fuji TV studio, but nothing happens. At the end of the failed test, he concludes that Windows 7 is indeed faster than Windows Vista…

Update: Another problematic Windows 7 demo for Fuji TV’s “Tokudane” morning show [hat tip to francois]:

Letting that guy demonstrate technology was a Fuji TV fail.

It was obvious that the program had already become unresponsive before he tried to zoom in on the studio.

He was trying to rotate the map and nothing was happening. Should have stopped right there and gone to plan b; announce that it is faster than vista, rather than continue to try to use an unresponsive program on live TV.

Microsoft Surface Globe. It uses the Virtual Earth 3D engine.

And also seems capable of making a timely delivery of FAIL.

ya, indeed. anchor fail, not Win7 fail. and what’s up with him trying to use FOUR fingers instead of two?

I can’t believe they still have this dude working. he’s totally like Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show. Just a grumpy old dude. whatevers…

Exactly, I guess that guy doesn’t own an IPhone. Well, I also don’t own one (or any multitouch device), but at least I know how to operate those devices.

And did they even have a touchscreen in the second video? There was absolutely no reaction to the user “input”.

By the way, I’m writing this froma Win7 PC and I really like the new OS, the new taskbar is great and there are lots of improvements over XP as well as Vista.

That is the problem with .Net app, witch is the case for MS Surface Globe, they are slow to start.

look guys it were very inovative if microsoft did WII-remote control for PC. or it were very interesting to make video-camera wich will follow the moves of the users hands.touch screen for PC the most retarded idea ever(unless you are some loser of market manager who think that touchscreens can replace the market staff). not that people dont like dirty/fat finger prints of the screen they also dont like to bow down at the PC screen the whole time instead to keep the whole picture in the eye. i congrad balmer and gates. they sold again a wrong developed and backward product for bigger money than before..

I think the problem is not in Windows 7 but with the sony touch screen, it was just shadowed because SONY is a JAPANESE BRAND. But maybe, it was just a configuration error.

Microsoft Japan’s president and CEO completely fails to make Windows 7 work :(

You need to skip to about halway, after the Ultraman (!) guys have been introduced…
