Rhinestone Mt. Fuji

October 14th, 2009 by James

deco fuji

Champions” puts artists who specialize in rhinestone decoration to work on transforming an old Mt. Fuji painting inside a bathhouse into a fabulous “deco” Fuji:

The head of the project, Tadasuke Miyazawa, runs a shop in at the Sunshine Sakae shopping center in Nagoya and also works as a “deco” teacher.

That’s too bad, the original painting looks so much nicer than that trashy rhinestone crap.

That’s terrible, but great publicity for the owner, will probably generate a lot more business for awhile. These girls are Paris Hilton drones for sure though, remind me of the kind you meet at a bar and when you ask them what English words they know, they say ” I am beach” or “Parisu Hiruton”

They might be a little dumb, but they probably have more fun in a week than you do in a lifetime.

Just like how you assume they’re all Paris Hilton drones who can’t even say a proper sentence in English.

I freely admit that I had absolutely no interest in this story, but watched it anyway in the hopes that some extra deep cleavage was missed by the editors.

Very disappointed.

I don’t know why you snobs can’t appreciate nice hard work and a job well done. It may not to be to your likings, but these guys didn’t do it so they can please your pompous asses.

Agreed, I for one think it looks great. They obviously wanted something new and that’s what they got. Also probably a great new demographic. It looks way better up close because of the surprising attention to detail the deco artists used.
