A partially-subtitled news report about Bandai’s Pellermodel, which allows you to turn photos of yourself into an action figure:
They feature the Yamashiroya toy store near Ueno station as a place where Pellermodels can be purchased, but I have also seen them at other stores such as Loft. They can also be purchased via Amazon.co.jp at 30% off their regular price. People who are unsatisfied with the basic version can get skirt-wearing Pellermodels or kid-sized Pellermodels.
