He used to be someone who’s music you could listen to without embarrassment…

I’m with Ben. This album is Rock Solid. But if it’s not to your taste William, why don’t you check out the near simultaneous US release “55 Cadillac” an album of beautiful spontaneous piano improvisations. I’m sure you could listen to that without fear of the judgment of friends or strangers.

By far the best thing W.K. has done in commemoration of his love for Japanese popular culture! This album is just FUN! Even if you aren’t an anime fan or a gundam fan, there’s just a certain feeling that Andrew gives these covers that make them great standalone W.K. songs! Just because this isn’t his usual “PARTY HARD” stuff doesn’t mean that it’s bad, it’s just different from his mainstream hits.
