Most security companies in Japan train their guards to walk clockwise around buildings when making patrols. This is because a great many windows used in Japan have their locks on the same side. A security guard walking clockwise around a building can efficiently confirm that every window is properly shut and secured.

Sorry to be Mr. Obvious but…

Training Japanese,”guards to walk clockwise around buildings when making patrols” is silly of course. In the real world (not Japan) security company patrols are randomized by computer to prevent a pattern that criminals can exploit (and to prevent guards sleeping/sleepwalking on the job).

For larger complexes or inside a building, sure, that would be a wise thing to do.

But how many ways are there go around the outside of a single building?

What Helical said. In the real world, there are only two ways to walk around the outside of a building – clockwise, or counter-clockwise. Now, if you have a computer program that can generate additional randomized ways to walk in a circle, I suggest you patent that puppy. You’ll be rich.

At a guess, you could walk at varying speeds, and every so often turn and walk the other way before heading back on your original course. Either of those would disrupt the time to complete the loop enough to through criminal timing off.

People! You’ve gotten it all wrong! This video is just a cover up! The truth is that Tenchi Masaki was a normal 17-year old boy – until the day he accidentally released the space pirate Ryoko. She had been sealed in a cave 700 years ago, due to the locals’ suspicions that she was a demon. Four more alien girls show up at the Masaki household. Well, this one is really looking one of the most creative security. As the Japanese security companies are really looking just incredible about their work. And It’s really good to know about their training style. Thanks for sharing, it’s really impressive and appreciative.
