A FTV news crew visits the town of Tobetsu in Hokkaido and discovers they’ve been transported to Sweden:

The area, which has hundreds of Swedish style houses, was established by the Swedish Center Foundation. Almost all of its inhabitants are Japanese, but they try to keep up the Swedish theme by holding cultural events and festivals. These houses are made here in Sweden by a company nearby where I live and are shipped to Japan. It is an enterprise of some Japanese company.

ok guys that are realy very old news. this “swedish village” has already the second generation of european houses.

in the west Japan lives a german who is modernisating old japanese houses into modern one and is some kind famous in that area because he saved many traditional houses. In north Hokaido there is a small “russian village” with very interesting traditional russian houses. In a south of Japan there is a “portgese town”. Osaka has a Prussian Quater wich you can not find in a today Kallingrand anymore.

i spezialy not posting exsactly coordinates. go and figure it by yourself, belive me it will be very interesting journey.

Swedish house and furniture looks sh@t. The stuff they export over to Japan is reminding me of trash Euros, namely exporting cheap things such as , Ikea, these houses, H&M,¨etc. Do Swedish meatballs come in as a part of the packeage to these houses such as Ikea? They’ll probably sell a Swedish flag and the ad is in Swedish colours to make it ” Swedish” THis is proper mind control marketing just like how they bran wash small kids to eat Mc Donalds everyday.

Looks pretty good. Lots of grass and trees and the yards seem to be a more normal size. They need sidewalks, though.
