This is hilarious. I noted that news shows are very visual, in that they always have charts and stuff, but this is a completely new level!

Rhythm and Police, from the Bayside Shakedown (踊る大捜査線, Odoru Daisōsasen) movies. The TV series used a more Orchestra-Based Theme song.

US folks might’ve seen the TV show retitled as “The Spirited Criminal Investigative Network”.

This reminds me of when little kids try to reenact events with toys as well. Who knew that someone could make a living doing this sort of thing!

It’s really useful that they put “イメージ映像” (image picture) on the broadcast as I was worrying that the police cuts had forced them to employ Playmobil people and big black glove-powered patrol cars.

(BTW, submit this to The Register as they love Playmobil!)
