This looks like a cool idea and there would definitely be a welcome impetus to drink heavily before it melts. I’m going to order a couple to have a memorable ice-cold beer with my wife this weekend… she’d love it.

With the cheap beers, ice cold is the ONLY way to drink them. I don’t think anyone’s gonna be putting craft ales in these. And I’m pretty sure the ice would hold up for the length of a beer – how slowly do you chaps drink?

This has to be the most useless product I’ve ever seen.

Cold beer is good, but watered down beer is crap.

And I agree with “helical”. If I wanted ice mugs I’d make my own from a mold. With how screwed up the economy is now, who can afford something so ridiculous and wasteful.
