If you don’t like this hamburger, you can get a refund

Lotteria’s marketing campaign for a new expensive fast food burger:
Under the campaign, set to last until the end of July, a customer who buys the new hamburger, priced at 360 yen, will receive a refund if at least half of the hamburger is left uneaten and returned to the store it was purchased from on the same day along with the receipt.
The store will first make another hamburger and if the customer is still not satisfied, the store will pay back 360 yen on condition that the customer fills out a questionnaire, according to Lotteria.
Customers will only be allowed to return the hamburgers once during the campaign period, while some stores may end the campaign early.

Who would go through all of that just to get a 360Y refund?
Definitely not Japanese people.
Two half-eaten hamburgers = one lousy free hamburger and a dumb survey!
The picture looks good, but I can tell you from experience, the recent “premium” burgers they offer at Lotteria like the the “zeppin (絶品)” cheeseburgers from last year are unbelievably small. I have average-sized hands, and they were the size of my palm.
I have no reason to believe this burger is any different …
Get rid of the giant globs of sauce (mayo, I presume) and we’ll talk.
Lotteria has really shaped up their marketing! You should have seen their product photos last year: we all know the burgers at for example McDonalds look better in photos than in reality, but Lotteria’s photos looked much, MUCH worse than the real McDonalds burgers … I’ve never managed to eat there.
Just sales gimmick for sure. Like the folks above mention no one’s really going to get a refund just for that 360 yen right ?
