Asashoryu gets a divorce
Mongolian-born Yokozuna Asashoryu has announced that his marriage is over.
He had married his childhood sweetheart, Tamir, back in 2002 when he was not yet a grand champion. She came to live with him in Japan, but apparently their relationship had some trouble and they started living separately two years ago (some media reports said that domestic violence had taken place).
