The World’s Biggest Hamburger
July 5th, 2009 by James

Congratulations to Miyazaki City for its creation of the world’s biggest hamburger:
The hamburger, which was made for a promotional event for the Phoenix Seagaia Resort, weighed it at 136.2 kilograms (300 pounds), beating the previous world record burger, which weighed a measly 84 kilograms (185 pounds).

I think they might have burnt the bun.
That’s what I though initially until I saw the 3 smaller burgers in the first picture, maybe it is suppose to be like that.
Why is the bun black?? O.o
The Japanese article says the bun has squid ink in it.
Yum. Squid ink.
what’s up with the bun? It looks weird.
They Collored it, on the first picture you see also a red hamburger and a green one. They didin’t burn it.
that is the most unapatising looking burger ever lol…are people actually eating it??
Yea crazy lookin bun there. But if you look close at the photo they have a normal sized burger in front that also has a black bun (also a green one and a red one). I’m guessing it’s supposed to look like that. Can’t imagine they would be promoting it if they had actually burned it by mistake.
Doesn’t really look very appetizing though.
Hey, they’re Pretty Patties! :3
The giant black bun is born :p
You know the weird thing about Japanese supermarkets is that they don’t have hamburger buns. Now when I see this, I get the impression that they don’t know how to make it look good XD
