Cat sounds like a frog

A cat in Japan that sounds remarkably like a frog when he purrs:

The cat is capable of making normal meowing sounds, and only goes into frog mode when he’s feelin’ great.

believe it or not, my cat actually makes the same sound! i thought he was the only one in the world, but i guess he’s not anymore, but i say his purr sounds like a dove not a frog.

I can see him using it to lure frogs closer, then bat them about until they die of fear… but just sitting there, doing nothing? Waste of talent.

Some Years ago I was for Sightseeing in Palma de Mallorca. In a Side Street of the Olde Town I thought I’ve heard a Toad croaking out of a Basement Window. When I took a closer Look, a black Cat poped out:

And the more we rubbed her, the more and louder she croaked…

Doesn’t surprise me, one time a cat came into my garden seemingly meowing ‘help’.
It started to sound normal after we gave her some milk though.
