I’m kind of curious as to whether they just record the same “EHHH?” from the audience once and replay it every week along with the same climactic music.

Now my nightmares are going to be haunted by mental images of the Mars Landing in the distant future… being broadcast on Japanese TV… with that music… and that same “EHHHH!?” they use for a staircase ladder!
