I want to see really fat naked people from off the street try to do this for big money, and not comedians that are hamming up their attempt on purpose.

Don’t they know in accordance with the Kimono and Yukata Control Law, it’s illegal to slide down an incline greater than 5% while wearing a kimono during a live broadcast on a local TV network show without having first obtained official permission?

The police should put a stop to this right away!

But seriously, do they even test these crazy challenges to see if they are physically even possible before they broadcast them?

It seems like they are falling down on purpose, they made no effort to “run safely”. The slope is too easy. Same goes to the few recent episodes I saw here. It used to be really funny though, where the challenges are almost close to impossible.

It’d be better (although probably not as funny to the Japanese audience) if they would honestly try to do the challenge instead of flailing around like a bunch of drunken spider monkeys.

When did this air? I watch this show regularly and I never saw this bit. Looks to be a recent one too, since he’s wearing a WBC jersey.
