Train ticket machines in Japan

A video clip showing a little piece of trivia about Japanese train ticket machines:

Apparently older model ticket machines would spit out tickets as soon as possible, which meant there would be a slight gap in between the time the ticket came out and any change came out. To prevent rushed people from running off with their ticket before collecting their change, newer ticket machines now have the ticket and change come out at the same time.
