Get yelled at and detained by cops if we carry a Swiss Army knife? (not illegal, but they can deem it &quot;suspicious&quot; if they want and search your home as a result)

These laws are silly, if regulations and laws prevented murder..well, there wouldn&#039;t be any murder. It&#039;s illegal.

BTW are they also going to make it illegal to rent a truck?
(The Akihabara killer started his attack by ramming a crowd with his rental truck.)</description>

		<description>I&#039;m not sure there is any big motivation for people to give up their knives. Usually you only get in trouble for possessing a knife if the police search you or your home in relation to another crime.</description>
