But as we all know from the Simpsons, sweat produced in fear works best against glue, so the just should have told him that they need to amputate his hand or so. ;) @ comments: I think most guys know what a 9V block to your tongue feels like. ^^ Oh, when I was four or five years old, my older sister gave me a screwdriver and made me unscrew the cap from a power socket. I pulled it out myself and it didn't hurt or bleed much. Weird. I teach in SK, the same age group, and I'm honestly surprised this hasn't happened in one of my classes yet. Students at this age---is it the same in Japan?---are always doing weird stuff, always slapping each other, always drawing with white-out, always playing with their knives (exacto-knives), always running around fake-wrestling. They took me to the hospital, and the doctor said I just had to wait till it melted in my mouth. Or at least that's how my parents retell the story.
