Somebody is torturing and killing cats in Tokyo

FTV news reports on the discovery of an injured cat at a park in Tokyo’s Setagaya ward (animal lovers beware – this video contains graphic images of abused cats):

The cat had wounds on its body that may have been the result of chemical burns. It is apparently the latest in a series of wounded/dead cats found in that same area since February, so it is suspected there is a cat torturing sicko on the loose.

Those with information on the case are asked to call the police (110) or call an animal care NPO at 080-5494-8851.

People who do this sort of thing often graduate to human beings at some point. The Kobe killer, the 14-year-old who cut off another kid’s head, did this sort of thing. He’s free now.

Sadly, there are people who do this everywhere. The fact that there are also people who try to stop it is heartening. When I lived in Setagaya, I was lucky to only meet the latter kind of people.

Find the garden where all these cats are sh*tting and vanadlizing, digging up plants and genrally making a health hazard. Cats always sh*t in other peoples gardens when the [selfish] cat owners havent trained their “lovely would never do anything wrong” cats otherwise ( cat litter tray etc). Probably that person might have a clue as to why the cats need to be got rid off and even with vengence/ taught a lesson etc ( probaly though that is directed at the owners). Not that i condone this but there maybe another story on the other size of the fence. Just take a look.

Anyway maybe the person is already tortured by these cats for long enough so its just there way of returning the bad rude thoughtless behaviour – too extremly though!! Anyway you get my point that there might be another side to teh story and hence maybe a solution with middle ground. people stop being selfish… then people stop getting upset.

Poor kitties. I hear a lot about animal torture where I live (of course it happens everywhere so its nothing new), but its absolutely sickening. You know they usually start off with hurting something small until they feel they can start doing that to a person, my guess is that this sicko more than likely has some mental problems. I hope they find him/her and get them the help they need. I very highly doubt that anyone with a sane mentality would do that.
