Japan, wild over the cute animals, will flock to the trains being driven by cats, dogs, and goats. Their popularity will eventually put most human conductors out of work, causing massive social unrest, not to mention hundreds of deaths following multiple train derailments and collisions. From there it will get worse. Factions of conductor terrorist groups will form, and release videos of beheading cute animal plush station master effigies. This in turn will militarize the animal-lovers, who will engage in bloody conflict and mecha arms race with the conductors for years. Eventually the conductors will accept a compromise--wearing cute cat-ear hats--and harmony will be restored.
