Obama bar in Osaka

The beer garden at the top of the Hankyu terminal building in Osaka is going with a Barack Obama theme this year:
Their “CHANGE！YES WE EAT!” all you can drink/eat plan is priced at 3,600 yen, but there is a special online coupon you can print out for a 200 yen discount.
Gotta love their beer foam mustache picture of Obama!

It’s easy to see why the nihonjin love the expression “Yes We Can!” Easy to pronounce, easy to remember and you can overuse it at anytime. Plus, you don’t really have to make an effort to actually LEARN any English at all. Grrreat!
That being said – some shop use it in a very clever, funny way. That’s nice. What tabehodai and Yes We Can have got together, I just can’t figure out…
