Good for him, but the best bartenders are at places you can’t just walk in to without an introduction. There’s a yakiniku joint off Wall Street where you have to go through the kitchen and get upstairs to get into one of the most exclusive bars in New York City – if one of the big investment banks in NYC isn’t your client you’ll never know about it or be allowed to get in, but when you get there you see some of the most amazing bartenders that have ever lived – guys who can shoot lemon juice into your $60 drink from 10 meters away.

60$ from a drink? I’d rather be at home drinking 60$ worth of vodka.

I just can’t seem to wrap my brain around the thought of some people starving in some parts of the world, while others are enjoying $60 beverages with propelled citrus juice in another.
I’m just sayin’

I’m just sayin’.

Remember when a great bartender was a guy/girl who could correctly get your order to you in just a minute or two without doing a stage show?
I miss those days.

I was also thinking, impressing the crowd with some tricks shouldn’t be a major point in how good a bartender someone is. There are surely more important things to consider.
Maybe the title should be relabeled as ‘Most impressive bartender in the world’.
