I’m pretty sure they had to take a million retakes to get it right (especially judging from his excited reaction after managing to cut the BB bullet), but still, really amazing.

BTW, a BB bullet is made out of plastic, not rubber.

I’ve seen this dood a few times, both here on JP and on TV, and regardless of takes, cutting edamame in half is pretty sweet. So is cutting a flying BB, regardless of how slow it might be going.

While it’s cool that we get to see all this, I wonder if it’s just me that feels it’s somehow demeaning to be featured on a TV, much less a show with wacky sound effects and crazy loud tarentos.

But then again, the guy seems to enjoy it himself, so I guess it’s ok.

I like how they call the special camera the “super slow camera” whereas it’s normally called a “hi-speed camera” in the west. Interesting cultural difference?
