Were those bunnies fighting camels with turbans? I can’t believe they went there! Are the bunnies part of a coalition including kangaroos and moose? Are the camels being secretly funded by pandas?

I wonder why they think that cute animals would show us horrors of war better than people? Is it like those old war movies when hundreds of soldiers are mowed down as stirring music plays and the audience cheers, then someone’s dog or horse gets hit and the audience gets all misty-eyed as the music goes all maudlin for a moment?

my question is: when will this be released?

I watched many war movies and I loved HBO “Band of Brothers” series but this is gonna be one hell of an experience, watching a war series that is CG animated w/ PETS!

just from watching the trailer, I could see that it looks intense and as good as any other war films and series.

They printed the whole series here in France (Vol 1 – 2 – 3 + 0). The fact is that the original story takes place during the Vietnam war where each country is depicted with a single type of animal. Rabbits are US, pigs are french (why not froggies??), monkeys for the Japanese, bears for the russians and so on.

But why did they have to do the anime series in Afghanistan? It’s a shame.

They even kept the original characters Botasky and his pal, but why not making them a bit “older”?

Well, anyway, I’m looking forward to the DVD release. And if you want to take a look to the original manga, go on. It’s not the best manga ever, but still it’s a pleasure to read it.

Hope this post helps you.

To be honest it looks kind of stupid, but I like the name.

Real animals get killed in real wars too.

That did nothing but make me laugh. It was awesome! The seriousness of war was totally lost because the animals are cute and make it more evident that this is a cartoon. (Obviously, war isn’t funny, but this is!)

i know it’s suppose to be a serious movie and it talks about the war…but i just can’t help but smile whenever i see the cut bunnies. especially when they’re “trying” to look serious.

Shouldn’t it be called Camel Shit One now?
