Magic tricks confuse chimpanzee

March 18th, 2009 by James

Shimura Zoo’s chimpanzee celebrity Pan-kun is shown some magic tricks:

It doesn’t seem like he was able to pay attention to most of the tricks, but in a few instances he almost appeared to be genuinely surprised by stuff that appeared/disappeared.

I was sure Pan-kun was going to go “Travis” on the magician after that last trick!

After the Zombie attacking the Kids, and now this video. JTV better hope that AI or PETA isn’t watching!

Off topic, but is it possible to turn off this Google Friend Connect? It screws up how I’m able to view the page and is kind of annoying.

I know how to do a couple of these tricks… I just wished that Pan-kun was my audience so he wouldn’t notice if I screwed up.
Most of the time he was seeking the watermelon.
