Video: Zombie attacks Japanese children

March 17th, 2009 by James

A Japanese TV show plays a prank on some small children who say they like horror movies:

Things we can learn from this video:

  • Zombies always announce their intent to attack your house in the form of a letter.
  • Zombies can easily be fooled into drinking Tabasco sauce if you tell them it is blood.
  • Tape is somewhat effective in slowing down zombies.
  • Use plastic wrap to avoid deadly zombie bites.
  • Zombies don’t like being punched and kicked by small children.

That is not funny. Pulling a prank on little children is really horrendous.

This is a public service. Children have to know what to do when the zombies come. I have my Tabasco sauce at the ready.

*ahem* The kids wanted to do it. They were long-time, hard-core “Zombie killer” wannabes. They just had never had the chance to face down a zombie before. I just feel sorry for the guy in the zombie mask – the kids really let him have it.

Heck, the daughter’s school even showed the video to her class as an inspirational example of what can be accomplished when a family works together.

They just had never had the chance to face down a zombie before.

You’re aware that such a thing is impossible, right? Please let us know that you are aware that zombies are not real.

It’s a good chance to apologize for your error.

What do you mean “zombies are not real”?

Of course they’re real.
The one in this show is obviously a guy in a mask, but the real ones out there are much nastier.

At least they’re getting good exercise. :D

Most tots I know would just cry in a corner til they’ve been eaten rather than going all Home Alone.

Yes, and yes. But it is from an episode a few months old. I think this was originally broadcast last fall. I have seen these kids kill the zombie 3 times now, and kill myself laughing every time.

Well, at least these kids are learning the basic concepts behind zombie re-killing, although the methods used are somewhat unorthodox.

A good introduction, I’d say.

And now when real zombie will come children will be convinced they know what to do… and will be eaten or whatnot. Cause to be honest with you, all the methods used in the movie are fake.

And seriously: poor children. It is traumatizing…

And what would be even funnier – if they pranked the actor in the zombie get-up by giving the kids a couple of loaded .38’s. Aw man, that would rock!
